Biography

I'm a licensed clinical psychologist serving youth and young adults in Marin County. I earned my Ph.D. from Palo Alto University and my undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University. I have extensive experience providing therapeutic interventions from a variety of modalities, including individual therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults, group therapy to children, adolescents, and families, and parent coaching to address needs across a range of developmental stages. I joined Bridge to Bridge Psychotherapy as Director of Group Programming in July 2023. Prior to this, I was the Manager of Child Psychiatry Department at Kaiser in San Rafael and Petaluma. I spent more than five years treating youth in the Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program. Before Kaiser, I worked at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland in their Behavioral Pediatrics Department and in other home-based, school-based, and clinic-based programs.

My approach to psychotherapy is grounded in evidenced-based treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy, which I tailor to an individual's specific needs and goals. While the focus of our sessions will be on navigating challenges you may be facing, such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, relationship difficulties, trauma, or some other difficulty, my approach is always through a lens of strength and resiliency. The goal is never to prevent problems or stress, but rather to provide tools to withstand adversity, bounce back, and grow to one’s full potential.  I strive to support authentic identity-development, setting of meaningful goals, and accountability to one’s values, in a warm, collaborative, and judgment-free way.
