Biography
Introduction:
For 25+ years I've had a private practice working with adults on a wide array of issues. I work with individuals and couples and conduct groups. I see patients in-person and over Zoom.
I specialize in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders and take a cognitive-behavioral (CBT) approach with these problems, using cutting-edge techniques, empirically proven to be effective. Such evidence-based, focused, approaches speed up the process; treatment of panic, for example, can be quite brief.
I’m one the very few practitioners in the county who accompanies clients out into the “real world”. For example, I’ll go to the mall with someone suffering from agoraphobia, or get in the car with a person who has a driving phobia.
Supervising therapists, workshops, and teaching seminars and workshops in these specialties, round out my practice.
