Biography
I work with individuals and couples who are experiencing stress, recovering from trauma, and dealing with transition. I have a warm, collaborative approach wherein you and I work together to assess how you are affected by certain core beliefs, and then begin to think about what's in your best interest. Working from a Control Mastery perspective, I believe that you have a plan to overcome what's difficult for you and my job is to help you actualize it.
In addition to working with adults, I specialize in working with children and adolescents with a range of presenting problems including anxiety, depression, divorce/separation, learning differences, anger, poor coping, and low self-esteem. I provide play therapy to children and supportive psychotherapy to adolescents, and work closely with parents.
