Biography
I provide family centered, in home and remote psychological assessments for children, adolescents and young adults. I specialize in identifying autism spectrum, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental differences. I also provide psychological assessment services to identify depression and other mood disorders as well as anxiety disorders. I am experienced in psychological testing for teens with substance dependence and other co-occurring mental health conditions.
I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and conduct assessments from a trauma-informed lens. Additionally, my training in evidenced-based family therapy allows me to approach every assessment with the whole family in mind. I work with families from a neurodiversity affirming stance, seeing your child's unique personality, rather than just their diagnosis. I am passionate about assessment and view it as a process that can make transformational changes in a person's life. I work from a strength-based perspective in order to illuminate your child's internal strengths and resources and help them (and you!) elicit those strengths in your daily lives.
