Barbara Easterlin, PhD, licensed psychologist, serves on the clinical faculties of UCSF Department of Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Services, and UC Berkeley Department of Psychology In her private practice, Dr. Easterlin provides individual, family and couple therapy as well as parenting consultation. She also provides assessment services for diagnosing ADHD, Learning Disabilities, mood and anxiety Disorders. Dr. Easterlin frequently lectures locally on diagnosing ADHD, executive functions, and navigating the social world of girls. She developed a social skills/group therapy curriculum for Authentica Center in Marin County. Authentica’s original protocol for group treatment of girls based on empirically validated research that combines therapy with a skills-based curriculum geared toward making positive and measureable change in girls’ friendships. She currently focuses on dealing with real world social issues faced by today’s tweens and teens. She has 2 children of her own, one in middle school and one in high school. License PSY13671.
